Niall Horan has revealed that he is struggling to write new music amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Whilst chatting with his followers on Instagram he said that;

“I suppose my plan is to hope this virus f***s off and then write a few tunes, kind of get back in the studio for a bit if I can.”

Despite the slower pace of life it seems the Mullingar native has been struggling with songwriting at the moment; “At the start I was writing loads and then not really getting anything out of it so I kind of stopped.”

“And then I was just enjoying life for what it was considering I haven’t had this amount of chill time for a while because I kind of like being busy.

“I’ve gotten into quite a nice little groove at the moment you know, kind of living normal life for a second.”

“Working out, playing golf, trying to write a tune every now and then. It’s been good. I’ve half enjoyed it.”

“But I am ready to start the engine again and get things moving before I lose the plot.”

The 27 year old also revealed that he is not sure when he’ll be able to reschedule his shows as gigs are still unable to go ahead at the moment.

“I’m not even going to attempt to have conversations with my agent right now because I’m sure they’ve got enough on their plate with everyone’s gigs.”

“But at some point next year I’ll try and go on tour. I’m not going to guarantee anything obviously in case we get round number five of this.”

Hopefully we’ll be seeing some new music from Niall very soon.
