Nadine Reid has shared the sad news this weekend off the loss of her friend and companion, Minnie. The TV presenter lived with the elderly for a number of years before her move to Donegal this month and they became an unlikely pairing across Nadine’s social media platforms!
Revealing the sad news on Instagram stories yesterday she said; “Minnie has passed away, crossed over is how Sharon put it, her first granddaughter.”
“And she had a great life, I feel so grateful I got to spend a couple of years with Minnie, we did have the craic.”
“Sending love to all of Minnie’s family and extended family.”
The presenter continued; “Anyway, we reckon Minnie is dancing with her husband Brendan now, I’d say she’s showing off alright! He’s probably like I’ve been waiting for you, for over 20 years, Minnie get over here!”
Reflecting on her friend’s passing, Nadine was remaining positive; “I hate to be blunt, but I have known a lot of death. It’s the only thing that’s guaranteed. So, let’s make the most of this time we have! I’m raising my morning tea to Minnie.”
“I’m going to try my best to stay joyful when thinking of Minnie!” she added.
