Miriam O’Callaghan has expressed her shock over the recent discovery of a porn site using photoshopped images of RTE stars.

According to the Irish Daily Mail, the RTE presenter was one of many Irish celebs whose picture was edited onto pornographic images for an adult website.

The 59-year-old admitted she finds it worrying that there are inappropriate photos of her on the internet.

“It’s pretty shocking to hear my face has been photoshopped in this way,” Miriam told the Herald.

“The big problem is that those images are out there in the online world, without us knowing, and there’s so little you can actually do about it right now.”

Other famous faces who appeared on the site include; Kathryn Thomas, Lucy Kennedy,  Rachel Allen, Jenny Greene, Vogue Williams, Colette Fitzpatrick and Nuala Carey.

Rachel Allen has spoken out saying she believes laws need to be put in place to stop incidences like this occurring, but admitted when she found out about her doctored image, she couldn’t help but see the funny side.

“It must be awful for someone whose real images have been used,” she told the Irish Mail on Sunday

“Maybe I shouldn’t have but when I heard about mine I did somehow manage to see the funny side of it.

“But on a serious level, there absolutely needs to be law.”

Gardai are currently investigating the adult site.
