Michael Flatley and his wife Niamh stepped out to celebrate the opening show of Michael Flatley’s Lord of Dance: 25 Years of Standing Ovations at the Bórd Gáis Energy Theatre, Dublin.
Many Irish faces walked the red carpet for the event including original members of the Lord of the Dance cast like Gillian Norris, Helen Golden, Patrick Bergin, Helen Egan, Bernadette Flynn, Marie Duffy Pask and Kerrie Connolly.
As a special surprise for the audience, Michael Flatley invited 22 future stars of the stage – aged between 7 and 11 years old, who are also dancers of previous cast members – to perform a short dance number at the opening of the show.
The 2023 tour is off to an exceptional start with 6 SOLD OUT performances in Dublin. Following a successful tour of the UK and Europe in 2022, Lord of the Dance will continue touring in 2023 across Europe and the Middle East.
