It was announced yesterday that bronze medalist Paddy Barnes had been added to the same bill that Michael Conlan will headline at the epic venue that is Madison Square Garden, on St. Patrick’s day next year.

This news comes after both Paddy and Michael announced their retirement from amateur boxing, and their move to the professional leagues.

While the upcoming New York fight will be Michael’s professional debut, Paddy will debut as a pro at Belfast’s Titanic Exhibition Centre next month.
