TV3’s resident weatherman, Martin King shocked viewers with his chosen outfit during last night’s weather report.
The proud Dubliner donned a Mayo jersey while delivering the forecast ahead of the All-Ireland final this Saturday -but it’s all in aid of a good cause!
Martin sported the opposing team’s attire as part of the Today FM’s ‘Dare to Care’ campaign for the Irish Cancer Society.
Although the seasoned presenter was delighted to be supporting such a worth cause, he admitted that wearing the red and green colours wasn’t an easy task.
“I could feel my skin starting to itch after a while but I was doing it for the Irish Cancer Society’s ‘Dare to Care’ campaign which I was happy to support,” he said.
However, he confirmed that he’ll undoubtedly be returning to his treasured Dublin jersey for the big game on Saturday.
“Come Saturday though I’ll be a true blue again! Come on the Dubs!” he said.
Viewers wishing to show their support to the TV3 presenters in their ‘Dare to Care’ challenge can do so by simply texting the word ‘DARE’ to 50300. Texts cost €4. The Irish Cancer Society will receive a minimum of €3.25.
