Fans of 50 Shades of Grey this new series might be just for you.
Irish actress Charlie Murphy, who you may recognise from Love/Hate and Peaky Blinders, is returning to our screens in Netflix’s latest mini-series.
And it looks rather racy!
The four-part series called Obsession follows Anna, played by Charlie, as she starts out a taboo affair that could ruin her life.
According to the Netflix: “The story centres around a dangerous love triangle that emerges when the enigmatic Anna Barton embarks on a passionate affair with her fiance’s father, William, a top surgeon.
“Whilst Anna fights to sustain both relationships, William is drawn into an obsessive spiral that is their undoing.”
The series is based on Josephine Hart’s 1991 novella, Damage.
So who plays the top surgeon Anna is enamoured with? Well, English actor Richard Armitage, of course. So we can’t really blame her for that one.
Richard is no stranger to Netflix as he played the lead role in the miniseries The Stranger.
Rish Shah plays Anna’s fiancé, Jay and Indira Varma plays William’s wife, Ingrid.
The series drops on the 13th of April.
