Louise McSharry has shared an incredible transformation picture, following her battle with cancer.
The presenter shared a collage on Instagram, which shows how her hair has grown since she went through chemotherapy and beat cancer last year.
Alongside the picture Louise said, “When I finished treatment, I googled ‘hair growth after chemo’ a million times to get an idea of how long it would take for me to have hair again.
“One year on, I thought it might be helpful to anyone at that point to see my year of growth.”
Ever since her diagnosis, Louise has made a point of being as open as possible about her journey, even making a documentary for RTE.
She previously told the Irish Independent, “The more honest we are about hard times, the better. There isn’t much information out there about the day-to-day realities of chemo.
“I didn’t know anything about it. Most people don’t. At some stage, you’ll probably know someone who’s going through it, if not yourself, so it’s good to have that information.”
