Louise McSharry has debuted a bold new tattoo and fans are absolutely loving it!
The radio DJ opted for a portrait of Muppet’s icon Miss Piggy in black and white, surrounded by pink and purple roses on her upper arm.
Revealing how she decided on the tattoo, Louise shared it was a long-time vision of her’s.
As she wrote: “I started thinking about this tattoo eight years ago. I’ve always struggled to feel good about my arms, despite the fact that my rational brain is well aware that they absolutely do not matter, so I thought it might be nice to put something beautiful on them.”
“I’ve always loved vivid, colourful, floral tattoos, and thought there was no one better to have there than a true icon of self-love and confidence: [Miss Piggy.]”
Finding the perfect artist to capture her vision, Louise headed to Camila Conti at the The Little Rabbit Ink Co. to bring her dream into reality.
Praising Camila’s work, the mum-of-two wrote: “Finding the right artist to work with on this took a long time, but I am so thrilled to be in a committed, long-term, tattoo relationship with @bycamilaconti. Aside from her incredible talent, she has the cosiest, most relaxed studio (@thelittlerabbitinkco), and made me feel comfortable from the first moment we met. Even over zoom!”
The Dublin native also revealed she has more inks in the works. Saying: “This is our first piece, my other arm is next, and we have three more in the works. If I’m honest, it’s hard for me to post this picture because the struggle is still real, but this art deserves to be shared, and I won’t be hiding it away.”
Her new tattoo proved very popular in the comment section.
