Excitement is setting in for the bride-to-be, as Louise Duffy reveals she’s almost fully prepared for her big day.

The presenter will marry GAA star turned fashion designer Paul Galvin during a ‘low-key’ ceremony on New Years Eve, and has been busy making all the final arrangements.

Speaking to the Irish Independent, Louise said, “I’ve the venue and the bridesmaids dresses sorted, so we’re getting there slowly but surely. I’m going quite traditional actually.”

Regardless of his new-found career in the fashion industry, the Today FM presenter wasn’t letting Paul have any say in her choice of wedding gown.

“Of course he didn’t help me pick the dress. That’s against the rules! I haven’t told him what to wear, and Paulie hasn’t told me,” she said.

Despite being so organised, Louise recently told our sister mag, TVNow, that she was having trouble tying down a performer for the night.

“I’m looking around and all the great bands are booked up – they are jam packed with their schedules. There is one I have my eye on so I’ll try and nab them. That’s a big part of the wedding – the music makes the evening,” she said.

Now that everything else is arranged, she’ll have plenty of time to tie down this aspect and make it a perfect night.
