It’s just a waiting game for Louise Cooney now.
She is expecting her first child, with her due date passing last week.
But life goes on, so she is putting aside baby waiting and celebrating her partner, Mark Sweeney’s birthday.
She took to Instagram to share his birthday breakfast, which was, of course, cake!
“Birthday cake for breakfast for Mark today!” she captioned the picture of the caterpillar cake.
Of course, there were plenty of candles in the cake.
Although, her beloved dog Cooper could be seen looking puzzled in the background.
“We made it to due date. Ready when you are baby,” she captioned the snaps.
She went on to add the hashtags: “#fullycooked #40weeks #duedate.”
Of course, Louise is super excited to meet her little one. Her comment section was full of people sharing their joy with her.
“soo excited for you.. Best of luck sending all the love,” Maeve Madden wrote.
“Can’t wait to meet you precious angel,” Niamh Cullen added.

Louise has been counting down to her due date, she previously shared a picture of her ultrasound with the caption: “Just over one week until our due date.”
“We can’t wait to meet this little cutie. Isn’t it so exciting that you just don’t know when they’re going to make their entrance.
“There are very few things in life like it.”
Earlier this month, Louise shared a photoshoot she did to commemorate her pregnancy journey.
“9 months. We are so ready to meet you, to see who has been cooking in there all this time,” Louise captioned the pictures of her cradling her baby bump.
“I’ve loved watching my bump grow and change, feeling the little kicks getting stronger.. I’ll never get over how women’s bodies do this. It’s the closest thing to magic in life.

The pictures saw Louise in a black dress which hugged her blossoming baby bump in her new home. She and her partner, Mark Sweeney, had just moved into a new spot a handful of weeks before they welcome their first child.
