Louis Walsh has confirmed that he’s been in talks with Simon Cowell about a return to the talent show.
Ever since the X Factor stared again a couple of weeks ago, the ratings have plummeted and there have been rumours of Louis’ impending return.
He finally addressed the comments on Loose Women yesterday, saying that there’s a good chance we’ll see him on our screens again.
“Simon said the door was open to me months ago. I talked to him last night. There is a possibility I might end up on the show, but I don’t know for definite,” he said.
Louis added, “I’d like to. I’m available. There is a possibility. It’s up to Simon and I get on with him really well. I have worked with him for 12 years… We talk all the time. I think there is a chance.”
If he did return to the show, the former Irish judge plans to bring some much needed excitement and fun to the talent competition.
“I have fun with him [Simon]. I wind him up, he winds me up. We are a good double act,” he said.
Despite admitting in the past that he doesn’t get along very well with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Louis said, “I’m going to bring Cheryl chocolates – lots of Cadbury’s chocolates. I’d like to bring a bit of fun.”
