We have to say kudos to Eoghan McDermott on this one – he got Bressie good.
The 2FM star pranked his Voice of Ireland coach friend by calling him up on his radio show and fooling him into thinking he’d been up to no good. Eoghan explained to his listeners that he was not making the phone call live as he was afraid that Bressie would curse – and he had good reason to think he would!
The prank centred around the duos recent weekend at Electric Picnic with their model girlfriends Jo Archbold and Roz Purcell. “The insinuation was that Bressie had inappropriately got a bit ‘handsy’ with Jo (Eoghan’s girlfriend),” the radio host explained. Evil!
During the fake confrontational phonecall, Eoghan told his unassuming pal that he wasn’t too happy with his treatment of his partner. “She was a bit upset because she said on the Saturday night after Roz went home, you got a bit ‘handsy’ with her,” he admitted.
A shocked Bressie responded, “Wha!? ‘Handsy’? What’s that even mean?” He then tried to deny the accusation, telling Eoghan: “She’s talking absolute horses*it!”
When he realised the whole thing was a joke, the musician shouted: “I’m going to ruin you! You and your gammy hair!”. Afterwards, he tweeted that he was serious about getting his revenge.
I am going to dedicate my remaining years on this planet to making a bolllix of you @eoghanmcdermo . #thefear
