Lisa Murphy has opened up about her break-up with Gerald Kean, the celebrity lawyer with whom she has been involved, on and off, for the past decade. for the first time since going public with the news.
Although Gerald, who is currently appearing on Celebrity Operation Transformation, has spoken to the press since the split, Lisa has remained quiet about the break-up and life as a single women, until now that is! In an exclusive interview with VIP magazine this month, the beautiful blonde said that she has absolutely no regrets when she reflects on her relationship with the solicitor.
“I don’t have any bad feelings about any of my relationships,” she told VIP. “They were important times in my life, great experiences and I don’t do regrets. I believe everything happens for a reason and people are brought together for a reason. I don’t look back negatively on any of my boyfriends. To be honest, I’m a very private person and I’m always in good form. I don’t do negativity.”
Lisa has lived through three broken engagements – to boxer Joe Egan, Michael Flately and now Gerald – but she puts these disappointments into perspective when she talks about the loss of her brother Paul in an accident over 20 years ago. “Losing a family member puts everything into perspective,” she told VIP, “and there is no word in the dictionary that described the loss of my special brother Paul.”
The socialite is confident that her and her ex will remain friends and wishes him nothing but the best in the future – and although she’s never tuned in to Operation Transformation before, she may switch it on to have a look at how he’s getting on!
She said, “We’ll always be friends! Do you know I’ve never watched the programme, but if I’m home, I’ll tune in, I’m sure he’ll do very well in it. ”
