“Life is busy,” Lisa Jordan assures us as we catch up at the eir VIP Publishing Power of Women Awards.
She came up from Cork for the stunning event after the launch of the LUNA by Lisa Jordan Christmas collection the night before. And she’s all go.
“I’ve been busy with a brand. And of course, I’m busy being a mam and getting ready for Christmas. Santie is coming! There’s lots going on in the house. We’re heading away for a few days to really soak in the Christmas atmosphere and the build-up,” she tells us.
Yes, Christmas has come to the Jordan household and she couldn’t be happier.
She is the proud mother to two girls, Pearl and Bowie, as well as a little boy – AJ. So the Christmas spirit is alive and well in their home.
“We’re a big Christmas household, we absolutely love Christmas, but sure who doesn’t? It’s just that time of year, it’s such a loving time of year. It’s happy and amazing.”
She adds that this time of year isn’t just for the little ones, it’s important for adults to switch off as well.
“It’s a great time for the kids and it’s a great time for parents too. It’s really important for kids to see their parents being happy. Seeing their little eyes, it’s magical.”
So does she have any Christmas plans?
“We’re doing nothing!” she laughs.
“It’s pyjamas, eating, enjoying the kids. I work, literally, 365 days of the year so I take a few days off at Christmas to spend with the kids.”
