Following yesterday’s startling announcement that Lisa Cannon won’t be returning to Xpose this autumn, the much loved host said her goodbyes to the entertainment show during her final appearance last night.
Lisa had an emotional farewell during the show, and has since taken to social media to let her fans know that while she’ll miss the buzz at Xpose, she’s looking forward to her new adventure.
The TV3 star said, “Adios Xpose, what a splendid decade. I’ll cherish the fun, fizz and AbFabness of it all. Enjoyed every moment. What a joy!
“Look forward to seeing everyone on Ireland AM. I’ll be waking you up on weekends now instead #Wonderful #Brekkie.”
Meanwhile, Peter O’Riordan has opened up about his departure from the show, revealing that he’s devastated by the news.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, he said, ““Obviously I’m very disappointed with the current situation. My main focus right now is my family, putting our heads together and seeing what’s next.”
Despite the sudden change, Peter sent his well wishes to the new presenters and his former co-workers, saying, “Good luck to the TV3 family not only in the autumn launch but for the future.”
