Lisa Cannon has landed her very own tv show, after finishing up on Weekend Am last week.
The seasoned host is set to front her own tv show about one of her favourite subjects – movies. Lisa is a big film buff and TV3 bosses think this new gig will suit her down to the ground.
After being axed from Xposé last year, Lisa has been spending her time filling in for Anna Daly while she was on maternity leave, and she impressed TV3 bosses so much that she ended up walking away with her own show.
An insider told the Irish Mail on Sunday, “Lisa did really well on Weekend AM. She showed versatility, and that she was up for any challenge. She will be fronting a new movie show on 3e, which will start in the coming months.”
Lisa is said to be “absolutely thrilled” that her new show has been given the go ahead.
