Lidl Ireland is recalling popular food products over allergy risk fears.
Certain Vemondo ready meals have labels and ingredients lists that are not in English which could means customers may not see allergy warnings.
These products are Vemondo Vegan Ready Meal,Mushroom & Barley Risotto, Vemondo Vegetable Gnocchi in Spicy Tomato Sauce and Vemondo Vegetable Curry.
The dishes contain some ingredients that customers may be allergic to, Vemondo Vegan Ready Meal,Mushroom & Barley Risotto contains barley, mustard and celery, Vemondo Vegetable Gnocchi in Spicy Tomato Sauce contains wheat and milk and Vemondo Vegetable Curry with Polenta contains milk and mustard.
These products may be a risk to consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of cereals containing gluten (barley and wheat), milk, mustard and celery and or their constituents.
The affected batch has a best before date of 13.01.2019 and their batch number is O13W. The pack size is 350g.
Concerned customers should not consume the products and return the food items to the nearest Lidl store.
