Lidl has issued a product recall for several of its chocolate items.
The products are being recalled due to allergy fears.
The item in question is the Deluxe Chocolate Drinking Stick in a number of varieties.
These are the Fine Dark Chocolate Deluxe Drinking Chocolate Sticks, Fine Hazelnut Deluxe Drinking Chocolate Sticks, With Speculoos and Deluxe Drinking Chocolate Sticks, Fine White Chocolate.
The notice was issued because the ingredients are not listed in English. This can, therefore, pose a risk to those with allergies.
The products could affect those with an allergy to soya and/or nuts and/or an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and/ or and an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten shouldn’t consume the product.
Affected products can be returned to store for a full refund without a receipt.
