Lidl Ireland have issued a warning to customers over a scam text message making it’s way around.
The text, which has been catching some people out, sends around a link for people to click on that says there is a ‘Big Surprise Package’ waiting for them.
“Happy Wednesday! There is (1) Big Surprise Package waiting for you!
“Re: UPS – 901753 – PRIORITY Last reminder to pick it up >>” The Irish Mirror reports the message to read.
“Please look out for this scam going round by text! Don’t engage with this as it isn’t us!” Lidl Ireland said in a statement.
