It looks like Celebrity Juice is almost over for good as Laura Whitmore shared an emotional tribute to the show earlier this week.

In June it was sadly announced that the award-winning series would not be returning after its 26th season with two farewell specials concluding its long run later this year.

The Irish TV presenter took over from Holly Willoughby as the next Celebrity Juice captain back in 2020 following Holly’s 12-year stint on the show, calling it her “dream job” at the time.

Hosted by Keith Lemon, the comedy show ran for 14 years with a whopping 308 episodes having aired.

Laura couldn’t help but mark her time at the show, sharing an array of photos to her Instagram and writing: “So grateful to have been part of this show. A reminder of the importance to play and be silly.”

“I watched @celebrityjuiceofficial before I worked in telly and it’s still a pinch me moment that I called it a job. It never felt like work. In fact it was like a night off from the madness of other things going on in my life.”

“Massive life changes happened during my time as team captain and I feel so thankful that this was the show I was doing when pregnant and first dealing with being a parent. It was a much needed injection of fun! And my awesome glam team for always making me feel fabulous!”

“Thanks @keithlemon you have made so many people laugh and brought so much joy,” Laura continued. “You truly are a special soul with a kind heart. Can’t wait to see what you do next. FANKS for having me along on the ride!” she finished.

The unpredictable and laugh-out-loud panel show will see a host of familiar faces return to play some of the most popular games of series’ gone by.

Some of which include, Maya Jama, Big Narstie, Chris Ramsey, Will Mellor, Johnny Vegas and Joey Essex.

Original team captains Holly Willoughby and Fearne Cotton will also make a welcome return alongside the current captains Emily Atack and Laura Whitmore.

The final episode of Celebrity Juice will air on ITV2 at 10pm on Thursday, December 8th, while A Celebrity Juice special will air on Thursday, December 15th.
