Laura Nolan and Matthew MacNabb are on cloud nine!
The couple are celebrating their engagement after Matthew popped the question with a custom made ring while they spent time in the States.
They still have that newly engaged glow when we catch up with them for the January issue of VIP Magazine.
And they plan to enjoy it a little bit more.
Laura tells us: “When you get engaged the first thing people say is ‘When’s the big day?’ but we want to enjoy this. We’re going to start looking at venues because you have to book them about two years in advance but that’s nice time for us, we wouldn’t want anything less than two or three years. We’re just living in the moment.”
Of course, the couple loves to travel, and they spent time on the West Coast of America last year. So it’s not out of the question that they could have a destination wedding.
One such destination is Italy!
“We’re really between both [Ireland and Italy] at the minute and want to explore our options. When it comes to Italy, Laura has spent a lot of time there, around five years,” Matthew tells us.
“She’s fluent in Italian. That’s where she won her ballroom championships and world title.”
While Laura adds: “It’s a special place, and also just so beautiful.”
