Katja Mia has shared some very important advice for any solo travellers who may be concerned about their safety.
Chloe Koyce shared a terrifying story about a man following her to her hotel room after a night out in Dublin.
Her video went viral as she raised awareness about keeping safe.

The Virgin Media star shared a video from her hotel room where she was staying with her fiancé, Daragh Curran.
“I think we’re all on the same boat when we say we are all filled with such rage after hearing about what happened to Chloe Koyce and it just got me thinking about hotel safety,” she said.
“I’m actually in a hotel right now but I’m staying with my partner so completely different but last year I was solo travelling. I went on a solo trip to Lisbon and when it comes to hotel safety especially when you’re staying alone, my older sister gave me such good advice.”
She went on to say: “Okay so if you’re travelling alone and checking into your room and the hotel receptionist says your room number out loud, you can immediately request for another room. I wouldn’t even think twice about it.

“It’s happened to me before where I’ve been at a reception, there’s been people around me and they say my full name, they give me my hotel room card and they say the room number and that puts you in such a dangerous situation especially it has a woman in this climate and I do feel like it is the hotel’s responsibility to remain discreet when it comes to things like this.
“I hate that we have to be extra cautious in this world but it’s a great piece of advice that my sister gave me and I use it to this day.”
