New mum Jenny Dixon has updated fans on the health of her newborn twin daughters.
She and husband Tom Neville welcomed their first set of children together over the weekend, with the actress revealing the babies were in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Sharing an update on how daughters Bella Sky and Capri Lucia were doing, Jenny took to Instagram to share the amazing news of their progress, with her babies no longer needing oxygen assisting tubes.
As she explained: “Today was the first day [Tom Neville] got to hold his baby daughters. After less than a week old they are doing so good they no longer need oxygen assisting tubes.”
“It’s been an emotional week, I do plan to be back during the week to chat. Right now I’m in a bubble of newborn cuddles, chats and also trying to recover too. Much love to you all.”
Sharing her appreciation for the hospital staff helping their family, Jenny wrote: “We are in to see the girls everyday and they are doing so good. What a team there is in Neo natal. @rotundahospital.”
The Dubliner also shared just how busy mum life is already, with her family not only celebrating the birth of the twins, but also her brother’s wedding.
Explaining: “Thank you so much for your beautiful messages, likes and comments. We are enjoying getting to read each one.”
“I got home a day early, Friday night & had to pack again to celebrate my brother’s wedding the next day to his gorgeous new bride.”
The new parents announced the news of their daughters’ birth this week.
Taking to Instagram the actress shared stunning pictures of herself, Tom, and their girls.
Captioning her post: “Myself & [Tom] are delighted to welcome our beautiful twin daughters to the world.”
Sharing the unique monikers the have given the baby girls, Jenny revealed: “Bella Sky Neville & Capri Lucia Neville were born Monday 20th February 2023. (Girls in Neo natal & doing well).”

She also thanked all the hospital staff who enable a safe delivery. Writing: “To Professor Jennifer Donnelly & the entire team of midwives & staff [ at the Rotunda Hospital] we thank you so much.”
