Jennifer Zamparelli sat down with VIP Magazine for our July issue.
In her first interview after leaving 2FM, she opens up about the “hardest thing” she’s ever had to do.
She admits that hanging up her radio mic wasn’t a decision she took lightly but she knew that something need to change in her life.
“There was just something telling me there was something else I had to do. And I always go with my gut. My gut was telling me not to sign that contract,” she confesses.
She admits that she spent a lot of time thinking about her next step.
“It was one of the hardest things I have ever done. It was so difficult and I was actually having mini panic attacks before the decision because I was in such a state of limbo,” she explains.
“Because at the heart of it, I didn’t want to go, I didn’t want to leave my show. And, it was heartbreaking – it really was. But something had to give and unfortunately, that was it.”
She admits that it hasn’t been “too much of a shock” not hosting her morning radio show but she says: “I miss it terribly.”
While she hasn’t been able to turn on the radio yet to hear Laura Fox take on the role, she has championed the new host.
