You gotta love Jedward – the singing twins sure knew how to get people talking about their new movie, Sharknado 3. Rather than take the usual route to promote a film, the former X Factor stars took to the River Thames, where they were chased on a speedboat by some blood-covered sharks. Yup, that happened!
The musical duo were on their way to the studio for an appearance on ITV’s This Morning, to speak about their role in the third installment of the Sharknado series.
Jedward – otherwise known as John and Edward Grimes – scored a part in the film due to their friendship with the leading lady, US actress Tara Reid. The trio met on Celebrity Big Brother and have remained close ever since.

Sharknado 3 will also feature Baywatch star Davd Hasslehoff, as well as Bo Derek and Frankie Muniz. The third instalment in the spoof horror series once again sees a tornado unleash a hoard of hungry sharks on LA and will premiere on Syfy UK on Wednesday July 23 at 10pm.
Fans of the twins have been showing their support on Twitter today, with the hashtag #Jednado trending. And even though their relevance in the movie is unknown as of yet, Jedward recorded the movie’s theme song ‘Oh Hell No’, which already has almost 200,000 views on YouTube.
