Fans of Janet Jackson were gutted when she recently announced she would be postponing her ‘Unbreakable’ tour, which included a date in Dublin.
The US superstar was set to play the 3Arena on April 2 but she revealed she would be delaying this, which led to rumours that tickets had sold badly.
However, Janet has now cleared things up in a video posted to her official Facebook page.
Addressing the disappointed concert-goers, she said: “My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you can, try to understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up; doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you.”
The singer also thanked her fans for their “love and loyalty”, as well as her band and crew, and she promised to continue the tour as soon as she can.
