Are you a lover of love? Do you need something to fill that Love Island gap in your life? Or maybe you just want to improve your Irish speaking skills? If you answered yes to any of the above questions then I suggest you keep reading.

Earlier this year, it was announced that we would be getting our very own Irish dating show called Grá ar an Trá, but were left wondering as to who could be hosting it.

Well, looks like we have our answers folks as James Kavanagh has just been announced as one of the hosts of the new reality show.

This series will follow twelve singletons in a quest to find love and learn the Irish language, with the ultimate aim of being crowned the ‘Couple with the most Focail’ and walking away with a grand prize to the value of €10,000.

Commenting on his new presenting role, James said: “To say I am buzzing to co-host this show is an understatement.

“Single & giddy Irish people looking for the ride while learning Irish? The show is destined to be iconic.”

“Let me be your Man an Tí, and together with my Bean on Tí and our Breitheamh – we’ll be helping those of you who are single and ready to mingle,” he continued.

Sounds like something you’d fancy? Well, you’re in luck as the series producers are currently looking for singletons to take part.
