Footballer David Meyler has shared his joy at welcoming a second child following some difficult months.
The footballer shared a photo of his new baby and wife Cally following the exciting arrival.
“Honestly words can’t describe how emotional I am writing this post,” he said on Instagram.
“Cally Meyler you are one hell of a women. After Alanna what you went through physical and emotional it’s all been worth it to get to this point in our life’s. We all love you so much,” he added. 
The couple have a daughter Alanna who they welcomed in 2016, but sadly they faced three miscarriages in a short space of time after that.
Revealing the pregnancy announcement back in October, David said: “After 17 months of heartbreak and agony I’m so happy to be able to post that my wife @callymeyler is expecting our second child next year.”
