The Irish act for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has landed in Ukraine ahead of the competition’s semi-final.
Although former Hometown singer Brendan Murray and his team of five backing singers made it safely to Kyiv, the same couldn’t be said for their luggage.
The head of the RTE delegation Michael Kealy, and singer Graham Kelly have lost their bags, while the Icelandic team have lost a total of 42 pieces of luggage.
Brendan will sing his entry Dying to Try at the semi-final next week, and his mentor Louis Walsh is confident that he will go all the way to the final on May 13th. Today he will rehearse and explore the city with his team.
We’re all rooting for you Brendan!
