Irish singing duo Glenn and Ronan are going from strength to strength, following a whirlwind 2016. The two young men were thrown into the public eye when a video of them singing an Adele medley went viral. The pair were then invited on stage with the chart-topping singer herself, and performed in front of a sold-out 3 Arena in Dublin.
Since this exciting moment the singers have also appeared on The Ellen Show with Ellen DeGeneres, and performed 80 shows in North America as special guests for Celtic Woman. They also released their debut single Come Home on iTunes earlier this year, and more recently they released a cover version of Ed Sheeran’s All of the Stars. Now however, the Irish lads are very excited as their biggest gig to date has just been announced.
Glenn and Ronan will be performing at the US-Ireland Alliance’s annual Oscar Wilde Awards in Los Angeles next February. The pair will open for Glen Hansard, who will be honoured at the prestigious event, while director J.J Abrams will emcee.
What a fantastic achievement for these talented musicians.
