For our latest issue, we caught up with Irish designer Emma Manley to chat about how life has changed.
We previously spoke to her just six years ago as she invited VIP Magazine into her home with her husband Eoin Ó Suilleabhain.
Now she is at a completely different stage of her life with three little ones, four-year-old Tadgh, two-year-old Dainín and one-year-old Barach.
“It’s wild, isn’t it? I don’t know if we’re cool anymore! But yeah, everything did happen so quickly, and you know, we always thought Kilmainham was going to be our future and our life,” she tells us from her new home Castleknock.
“The house is busy, bright, and fun. But our priorities just changed and you get a bit real, and move a small bit away from that dream. And don’t get me wrong, I loved our previous life, we had a great life and we still do; it’s just a little bit different!”
She jokes that there was “never a time recently here I have not been breastfeeding or pregnant!”
“Tadgh had just barely turned three when Barach was born, so like, honestly, there were four years of breastfeeding and being pregnant,” she admits.
