18-year-old Elizabeth Ndudi has made history as she took to the field for the European Championship this week.
The Dubliner picked up a gold medal for her incredible long jump.
Not only did she win the event, she also set a new national record for the under-20 category.
It was intense competition as six jumpers finished within six centimetres, Elizabeth jumped a 6.56m personal best in the third round.

This new record smashed the last one that was also set by Elizabeth at 6.44m only last month.
It also marks just the eighth time an Irish star had landed gold in the championship’s 53-year history.
She is also the first Irish athlete to win gold in a field event at the European U20 Championships.
In fact, the athlete is now just shy of Ireland’s all-time women’s long jump record, set by Kelly Proper in 2010 of 6.62m.
What an incredible feat! Well done, Elizabeth!
