Ireland AM favourite Alan Hughes is in talks to present TV3’s Toy Show. The presenter revealed that he was asked by Ballymount bosses if he’s free at the end of November.
Currently on a winter break in Gran Canaria, Alan told the Irish Sun that he received a vague text message from the head of daytime at the station asking him to meet when he returns from his holiday.
“I got a message from the head of daytime at TV3 yesterday asking me if I was free at the end of November.
“There was talk of a Toy Show. I don’t know what the story is but I presume they must be looking for me to do it,” he said.
Alan previously hosted the Early Early Toy Show as part of Ireland AM, but now it’s looking like we may be seeing Alan at a later time that we used to.
The structure of the show then changed to an evening slot in 2013 and they reached an audience 360,000.
“That’s a huge audience for TV3 and a show with kids and toys is a nice thing to do at Christmas,” he said.
We think he’s be great in this role!
