Hughie Maughan and fiancé Ryan Ruckledge claim that they were the victims of a homophobic attack, after attending the Gossies last night.
The reality tv couple partied the night away at the glitzy award ceremony in the Radisson Hotel, before joining their fellow celebs and heading to Lillie’s to continue celebrations.
However, what started out as a glamorous, fun-filled night ended in disaster, as the Dancing with the Stars contestant and his other half were attacked by four men.
Hughie took to Instagram today to explain what happened to the couple, and shared a photo showing an injury Ryan sustained as a result of the ordeal.
“Can’t believe what happened last night,” he said in the post.
“Me and Ryan went to an awards in Dublin and ended up on a night out and a bunch of lads launched a homophobic attack on us.
“Ryan’s foot is broken aswell.”
We wish Hughie and Ryan a speedy recovery – and hope their attackers are brought to justice.
