Michael Douglas is willing to do anything in his power to get Irish golfer, Rory McIlroy back onto the field, even going so far as to become his personal masseuse!
Rory is out of action for six weeks due to an ankle injury, much to Michael’s disappointment.
The star has been a fan of Rory for a long time, and is upset by the fact he won’t be competing in The Open.
“I’ve been following Rory for years now and watching him grow and evolve into a champion. It’s really unfortunate what happened to him, and I just hope he makes a speedy recovery,” he said told The Irish Sun.
Michael is prepared to do just about anything to get Rory back on track.
“I’ll even do whatever I can to help. If he needs ankle massages every day, if that’s what it takes, I’ll do it!” he said.
