Alan Hughes has sadly confirmed on social media the death of his older brother David, who passed away yesterday following a short battle with cancer.
The TV3 star took to Facebook to share a touching message about his brother and to thank everyone for their prayers at this hard time.
“His children and Martina plus our whole family were all amazing to the end and are heartbroken. (So strange that his passing was a week to the day of the anniversary of my sister Doreen who passed from the same illness.)”
Alan’s sister Doreen, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2009, sadly passed away in April 2012.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Alan and his family at this difficult time.
