She was known for her photocall ways in the noughties and now Glenda Gilson has returned to sign holding and posing on the streets of Dublin all for a good cause.

She even braved the rain on Grafton Street for it!

Glenda showed off her modelling skills to launch the Irish Heart Foundation Her Heart Matters this week.

Dressed in a red mini dress and matching coat, she was singing and dancing in the rain for the campaign.

Her Heart Matters takes place for the month of September and aims to raise awareness of the prevalence of heart disease and stroke amongst women and save lives by encouraging women to make vital, sustainable changes to improve their heart health.

One in four women in Ireland dies from heart disease and stroke according to the Irish Heart Foundation, which has revealed that cardiovascular disease is more prevalent among women than breast cancer.

Despite the risk of heart issues increasing as women enter their 40s and 50s, just 13 per cent of women are aware that they are at greater risk of developing cardiovascular disease after experiencing menopause.

Even worse just four per cent are aware that women are at greater risk of stroke after menopause.
