As the weather gets warmer, having a gorgeous summer glow is something we all want. However, what we don’t want is the sun damage that comes with it, so getting our tan from a bottle is key! At the moment we’re loving a tan that’s new to the Irish market, Beauti Edit.
The brand was set up by two Irish women, Jennifer Cullen and Lisa McDermott. They set out to create a high end, long lasting face and body mousse that was easy to use. Jennifer and Lisa, who were already friends, wanted to create product that wasn’t just about tanning, but something that would also benefit the texture and health of your skin.
The name, BeautiEdit comes from the idea of editing your concept of beauty, and bringing gorgeous, sun kissed, unfiltered skin to any age group. Lorraine Keane, the brand’s ambassador, described the easy to apply mousse as a “game changer of a tan.”
The ethos behind the brand is to tan, treat and hydrate, and for tanning it comes in three shades, Medium, Dark and Ultra Dark. There’s a shade here to suit everyone, whether you’re a pro tanner or a total novice, the gorgeous formula is tinted and quick drying making it easy to apply.
For treating the skin, the product was designed not only to give the skin a deep, golden glow, but it’s also infused with high performing skincare. Containing Collagen Hydrolysate, Hyaluronic Acid and Aloe Vera Extracts, this tan deeply hydrates and plumps the skin leaving you with a glowing, flawless and natural looking tan.
This innovative approach means that it also results in super hydrated skin, so as your tan gradually wears off, over 5-7 days, it fades naturally and doesn’t leave you with any dry, patchy areas.
The vegan, ultra nourishing formula smells good too, and is fragranced with ethically sourced Sandalwood, Jasmine and Coconut. A nice scent once applied is always a bonus when it comes to tanning!
