Michele McGrath looked positively radiant on the recent shoot we did with her and her Liir bandmates (FYI, full interview with the band in Thursday’s issue of VIP.
To find out exactly how to steal her look (and her gorgeous glow), we chatted to her lovely make up artist Barbara Dargan.
Firstly Barbara applied a MAC primer to even out Michele’s skin-tone. She then applied a number 6.5 luminous silk foundation from Georgio Armani, which is lightweight and really breathable. As Michele was blemish free (jealous!) Barbara only needed to apply a tiny bit of MAC concealer under her eyes (NC35).
On the eyes, Barbara used MAC Saddle in the sockets which really illuminates blue and green eyes, as you can see here with Michele. On the lids and under the eye she used MAC Dance and MAC coffee coloured liner. Michele’s lashes were curled and applied with MAC HD mascara to lengthen and thicken them even further.
On the cheeks Barbara used a little blush in MAC Style and highlighted with MAC Honor on top of Michele’s cheekbone, her temple area and the bridge of her nose, all drawing light to her face.
Her lips are subtle and they were only lightly brushed with MAC boldly Bare liner and a tiny bit of Mac Richer Lusher lipgloss.
