Georgie Crawford flew out to Georgia to welcome her second child via surrogate.
Earlier this week she and her family headed out for the birth of their tot.
And she had an emotional moment as she heard her child’s heartbeat for the first time.

“It’s incredible to finally be in the same country as our baby. To finally embrace our surrogate mother and meet all of the amazing people who we have connected with and who’ve helped us over the past 18 months.
“To hear our precious baby’s heartbeat today on the scan was the best five star moment I’ve had. This time together as a family is extremely special to us and we are now on baby watch.
“I feel so calm and present now that we are here. Thank you so much for all your kind words and for rooting for us. We’ll keep you posted.”
Georgie and husband Jamie announced they were expecting baby number two, via surrogate, back in April. And now it seems their little one’s arrival is imminent.

The podcaster updated followers on their surrogacy journey, revealing their family was flying out of Dublin airport to visit their surrogate. Saying: “And so the adventure of a lifetime commences. We’re on our way!!”
Adding: “Three years later and we’re finally off, we’re coming for you baby.”
While Jamie said: “And so the big adventure begins!”
He also informed followers of a slight mishap at the airport as their flight was delayed.
Saying there was a “slight delay to ground” but praised their airline as the pilot spoke to passengers about the situation and children were gifted chocolate, water, and games to play while they waited.
The couple experienced a long and difficult surrogacy process as their embryos were in Ukraine when war broke out.
However, they embryos were saved and the couple was able to fulfil their dreams of growing their family. Sharing the good news on social media in April, Georgie wrote: “I think it’s finally starting to sink in…our surrogate mother is pregnant!! After what feels like forever, our precious baby is on its way to us. In a million years I could never describe the emotions we have felt this year, our baby is due after the summer.”
“We are so grateful to the brave man who rescued our embryos from Ukraine back in Feb, 2022. But most of all we owe everything to the incredible lady who is carrying our baby for us, an earth angel, words cannot describe our gratitude.”
“I have so much love in my heart writing these words. It hasn’t been an easy road for us, so much so, that it’s hard to believe it’s real.”
Good luck, Georgie and Jamie!
