Georgia Penna has revealed the secrets behind her toned body, and admits that she certainly doesn’t shy away from food.
The model is known for her beautiful figure, and has claimed that she keeps it intact by simply cutting out processed food and limiting her alcohol intake to those random few nights out with her gal pals!
“I eat a lot! I love food. Most of my day is spent thinking about what to eat. I eat healthy food and I rarely eat processed or fried food, so I think you can get away with eating a lot more, well at least I hope so,” she said to The Sun.
“I think if you stick to a clean diet of fresh fish, vegetables, salad and grilled chicken you can become leaner.”
The model also admitted that she tries to cut down on her alcohol intake, but still makes sure to have the odd drink when she’s out with her friends or husband – everything in moderation as they say!
“I very rarely drink alcohol, only if I’m at a party or a night out. I’d never have a glass of wine at home. I think if you can cut that out, it’s very helpful for losing weight,” she said.
While she sticks to a fairly rigid diet plan, Georgia makes sure to steer clear of cardio when she’s in the gym because it makes her too skinny. Instead, she would much prefer to work focus on weight training.
“I do mostly weights in the gym. I don’t do much cardio as I have a high metabolism and lose weight very easily. I work out in the gym with my husband most days and I enjoy doing pilates classes once or twice a week,” she said.
Like the rest of us, Georgia has a weakness for treats and sometimes her sweet tooth can get the better of her.
“I love ice cream and chocolate. My absolute favourites are sprinkles and velvet cupcakes, but you can only get them in America, thank God or else I’d have about five a day,” she said.
