Louise McSharry has had a more turbulent year than most, but is putting it all behind her now as she prepares for her big day.
Last August, the presenter was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, but has since been given the all clear. Now, Louise’s attention is completely focused on her next chapter of her life: her marriage.
She is set to get married to her long term boyfriend Gordon Spierin this coming Friday, and has been busy getting in some last minute prep!
Last night, the presenter took to social media to share with the world her thoughts on the subject: “Jesus, this wedding lark is a lot of work,” she said.
Today though, the stress of the big day seems to have disappeared as Louise has been getting pampered in Brown Sugar salon in Dublin.
Posting a pic of herself getting beautified, the presenter looked stunning as ever as she waited for her hair styling to be completed. If anyone deserves to be pampered after the year she’s had, it’s definitely Louise.
Even though the presenter was diagnosed with cancer in the midst of her wedding planning, she didn’t want to reconsider the date for the big day, and we find that nothing but admirable!
Speaking to VIP recently, she said: “Gordon proposed in October of 2013. We went to stay in an amazing country house in Tipperary called The Old Convent. We had been there before and absolutely loved it, so when we went back in October, he proposed! We had booked it already and I just wasn’t willing to consider changing any plans. I feel like it will be fine.”
