It’s a very exciting time for Donal Skehan, as he has just revealed his latest career venture.
The Howth native will be hosting Saturday Kitchen on BBC One this weekend, where he’ll be chatting to celebrity guests and preparing some culinary delights.
Donal took to social media to share the news and said, “Extremely excited to let you know that I will be presenting BBC One’s Saturday Kitchen this weekend. I’m a huge fan of the show, so it’s such an honour.”
The celebrity chef is no stranger to working on tv, however taking charge of a live 90 minute cookery and entertainment show is something he’s never done before.
Speaking to the Irish Times, Donal said, `”Saturday Kitchen has become an insitution at the BBC and a big part of many people’s weekend routine.
“There is huge pressure, but I’m really excited about the challenge of a live show and looking forward to cooking some delicious dishes.”
The show airs on BBC this Saturday at 10am, and we’ll certainly be tuning in.
