Eve Hewson has been smashing it over the last few years.
From Bad Sisters to Flora and Son, and of course, most recently The Perfect Couple – she’s one of Ireland’s biggest stars.
While it seems like she just exploded overnight, Eve admits that she has been working tirelessly for over a decade before her big break.
“You hear so many stories of people who were like, ‘I walked into my first audition and I just became a star’,” she explained.
Speaking to the Associated Press, she admitted: “Or, there’s this element of being an actor where people don’t want to tell you how hard they work. They want it to look like it’s really easy.
“But we’ve been doing this for a long time. People just don’t really tell those stories. It’s usually about the one that was found on the street.”
While her Netflix co-star Meghann Fahy backed her up saying: “She took 15 years to become an overnight success.”
We’re still perfecting our Perfect Couple dance routine, but Eve is moving onto even bigger things.
She is set to star in Noah Baumbach’s upcoming film alongside the likes of Adam Sandler, George Clooney, and Riley Keough.
She’s also tipped to join Steven Speilberg’s next production.
It looks like Eve could overshadow her father Bono’s fame at this rate!
