It’s that time of year – the Love Islanders are free and they are going to be jetting around the UK and Ireland for the foreseeable future.
Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is set to touch down on our soil this weekend. She won over viewers with her quippy one-liners, her dramatic behaviour and her rom-com-esque romance with Davide Sanclimenti.
She’s certainly a busy woman after being crowned the champion of the show on August 1st.
And we’re sure she has a jam-packed schedule when she makes her way to our shores just one month after winning the biggest reality TV show.
One of her first orders of business is to head down to Blanchardstown, not to do some shopping (although we’re sure she will), but to open the brand new bPerfect shop.
She’ll be on hand from midday on Saturday to launch the new location!
Immediately, people began to wonder what the star’s link to Ireland is. She originally is from London and grew up between the UK and Istanbul.
However, it looks like Ekin-Su may have had a short stint living in Ireland. Representing the country in the 2012 Miss Asia Pacific World pageant when she was just 18, her hometown says ‘Dublin’ in the documents.
There seems to be no more evidence that Ekin-Su lived in the city, but fans are happy to see her represent the country nonetheless.
Ekin-Su has been soaking up the sun Stateside as she has been busy working over in Los Angeles. Will she be joining another show over there?
With her acting background, we wouldn’t be surprised. Although it looks like she has been working on something for Oh Polly, the clothing brand that she signed a €1 million deal with after leaving the villa.
At the time it was reported that it was the biggest Love Island fashion deal. Ekin is a massive fan of the brand as she apparently wore 27 pieces from the fast fashion site.
We can’t wait to see what Ekin gets up to once she lands on Irish soil.
