Ed Sheeran has revealed that he has landed a role in a new movie out this summer.
The hitmaker took to social media to reveal that he has a part in Beatles themed movie ‘Yesterday’.
“I’m playing myself in a new film called #YesterdayMovie was a lot of fun to be a part of this,” he said.
It followers the story of a man who wakes up to find the Beatles never existed and uses this information to start his own musical career by plagiarizing the once known songs.
While his newfound success has definitely impacted his life in some cases for the better, in other cases it causes the relationships he has built with his friends and family to crumble.

It’s not the first time Ed’s lent his hand to film and TV work.
The Kiss You singer recently starred as himself in Bridget Jones’s Baby and in both Game of Thrones and Home and Away.
