Irish expats rejoice – your favourite fake tan is now available Down Under!
Irish business woman, Marissa Carter, has just announced that her best-selling tanning range has hit Australian shores and will be available in no less than one hundred MediAdvice pharmacies across the country before the week is out.
This is the third international expansion for Cocoa Brown so far this year, including a recent launch in the U.S.A (Ricky’s NYC) and in almost 900 Tesco stores across the UK.
Key Australian beauty influencers have been raving about Cocoa Brown by Marissa Carter before it has even hit the beachy shores, and a thrilled Marissa tells us: “We have been receiving emails, messages and tweets from Australian ladies asking where they can buy Cocoa Brown in Australia. It’s so astonishing to think Cocoa Brown has become popular in a country we’re not even selling into yet!”
The Cocoa Brown Australian arm will be run by a distribution company headed up by two Irish expats. Both sisters, Ruth and Kim of RK Distribution, have a long history working within the beauty industry in Australia and with the Irish connection, it was a perfect match for Marissa and the Cocoa Brown brand.
And sales are set to soar, as Australian nationals are catching on to the health risks of sun exposure – the country has one of the highest skin cancer rates in the world – and seek a safer way to maintain that signature sunkissed look.
