Donal Skehan is a romantic at heart.
He shared a sweet message to his wife, Sofie as the couple celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary this week.
The chef posted snaps of his gorgeous wedding day as he reminisced on almost a decade of married life.
The loved up couple tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Lisnavagh House.

He wrote: “9 years married today, 18 together since we were only babies!
“Coming up on the big 10 year mark and sure jaysus we’re still going strong. So much life has happened since then, 2 kids, 5 house moves, 2 transatlantic life changes and one house purchase and plenty of rows, stress and killings but my goodness do we plough through and find love in between! Happy anniversary Sof, love you!”
How sweet are these two?
He was met with sweet messages from his pals who congratulated them on nine years of marriage.
“Congratulations so happy for you guys such a celebration loads of love,” Jedward wrote.
“Happy anniversary my loves,” Brian Dowling commented with Arthur Gourounlian adding: “LOVE YOU GUYS! Happy Anniversary.”
“Beautiful,” Darren Kennedy said.
Earlier this year, Donal marked 10 years since he popped the question.

“Can’t believe it’s 10 years ago we got engaged in Paris – always love looking back at these pics- such a lovely time before all the madness of wedding planning and everything else that has happened since,” he wrote as he shared pictures of their proposal.
“Sweet little moment just the two of us- very rare these days! Edging towards the 10-year wedding anniversary!!!”
The pair tied the knot in 2015 in Lisnavagh House in Co. Carlow. The couple have been together since 2006 and now share two sons, Noah, six, and Oliver, three.
