Dominique Nugent had quite an exciting weekend as she and her husband Paddy became homeowners for the very first time.
After having a heartbreaking start to the new year when Dominique sadly suffered a pregnancy loss, the couple finally have something happy to celebrate.
Taking to Instagram to reveal the news, Dominique shared a wholesome reel of her and Paddy getting the keys to their new home.
“A very special weekend,” she captioned her post.

“The lady that lived here left us the nicest card and a bottle of prosecco and I was off,” she continued.
“She lived here for almost 40 years and described it as her safe haven. That made me so happy to hear.”
Dominique went on to explain how they had spent over a year viewing houses and putting in offers to ultimately have been rejected in the end.
“This one feels like home and exactly where we were supposed to be. It was worth the wait,” she ended her post.
Now that the pair have officially moved in, it’s time for the real work to begin.
Opening up to her followers, Dominique admitted that she has so much to sort through over the next few weeks while trying to start work on the house.
“I moved boxes this morning of about 25 frames/pictures and I’ve decided I don’t want to hang anything on the new walls.
“This house will be minimalist,” she added.
